Scotland Day 7 - Wester Ross - The Scottish Highlands [04:53]
Day 7: we headed west and north from Inverness into the area of the Highlands called "Wester Ross" (according to our map, anyway (not to be confused with "Westeros," the mythical kingdom in "Game of Thrones," etc.). We made it as far as Gairloch and Guinard Bay - still a long way from the northernmost reaches of Scotland, but beautiful and dramatic scenery around every bend. On the way back to Inverness and Castle Stuart we stopped at the ruins of the Beauly Priory on the Black Isle.

The Budweiser Clydesdales are some of the most famous Clydesdales, and other members of the breed are used as drum horses by the British Household Cavalry. They have also been used to create and improve other draught breeds.
