The Australian High Commission is situated in London. The High Commission’s office hours are from 9am to 11.30am, then 12 noon to 4.30pm, Tuesday to Friday. Many services or information requests by Australian citizens can be sorted with just a phone call to the Australian Commission. If however it is necessary that you visit the office, first contact the Commission and further steps can be taken from there. The Australian Commission provides services like passport, consular, traveling, royal events and election information for Australians citizens overseas.
The Migration Branch of the Australian High Commission looks after clients residing in the Republic of Ireland and in the United Kingdom. The Migration Branch provides Visa and Citizenship Information, which includes ETA, Visitors visas, Working Holiday Maker and Student visas. The branch also deals with forms, fees, Health and Character information. Travelers to Australia can find out all the necessary information from the Migration Branch. They can provide information about visas, things to do in Australia, customs and quarantine and information for new citizens in Australia.
