Fotheringham Gallery was created back in 1997. Since its inception it has built up an impressive reputation for its fine collections of jewelry, contemporary paintings and exceptional craft works. This Scottish art gallery does more than just sell art, it takes extreme pride in promoting local talent. Inside this outstanding gallery, visitors will discover an intriguing range of art works by top Scottish painters as well as newly discovered talents. Fotheringham Gallery keeps a fine stock of paintings by its regular artists all through the year. In addition to this, it hosts exhibitions which are changed every 8 weeks or so.

Also of note is the Fotheringham Gallery's stunning selection of ceramics. Here you will discover some of the most creative, intricate and meaningful ceramics in Scotland. From tea pots to bowls and figurines, there is always something worth seeing. Not to be missed are the design-led crafts. Leigh Fotheringham is responsible for the stunning handmade jewelry which sparkles in the gallery. This fine contemporary jeweler studied at Glasgow School of Art where she gained an honors degree specializing in Silversmithing and Jewelry Design. All the pieces of jewelry created by Leigh Fotheringham has been carefully designed and crafted by hand. Gold and silver pieces are decorated with the finest pearls and gemstones.

Indeed, you will find a visit to Fotheringham Gallery a real treat. There are so many brilliant paintings, ceramics, craft and jewelry pieces to be seen and purchased. The gallery is open on Mondays through to Saturdays from 10:00 am to 05:30 pm. Bridge of Allan is easily reached from Stirling and makes a great day trip for those vacationing in the area.
