Ice Flowing Down River Earn Perthshire Scotland [01:01]
Tour Scotland Winter video of ice forming and flowing down the River Earn, Perthshire, Scotland. Frosty and freezing at the River Earn during the coldest winter in Scotland for 100 years. The River Earn leaves Loch Earn at St Fillans and runs east through Strathearn, then east and south, joining the River Tay near Abernethy. The Earn is about 46 miles long. It passes by Comrie, Crieff and Bridge of Earn.

Irvine Ayrshire Scotland (28dec2010) Ice Flowing In The River Irvine. Panasonic Lumix TZ9 [04:15]
We were walking over Irvine Moor late in the morning with the dog, and heard the river before we saw it! The rise in temperature over the last couple of days had broken up the ice, and the heavy rain overnight put the river in a spate that washed it away . This clip started out as three clips, and I used the Youtube video editor to join them together, showing the ice moving as we headed upstream. The video starts at the railway bridge (known locally as either Campbells Bridge or Victoria Bridge), near Bogside Golf Course. It finishes at the weir with some larger sheets of ice breaking up as they go over the edge.....
