NW Scotland. Lochcarron to Bealach na Ba summit (x 4) [06:06]
Video compression x 4. 1 May 2012. The ride from Lochcarron along mostly single track road to the foot of the "Bealach na Ba" (Pass of the Cattle) road before the turn off by Tornapress is worth including. It gives an insight into the nature of the countryside hereabouts and also one of the hazards....a Red Deer crossing the road! The view from summit car park on this occasion was excellent......One can see the Cuillins of Skye quite easily directly ahead, just as the motorcycle comes to a halt at the parking area/view point.....pause the video to see?

The West Highland Way Experience - From Inverarnan to Fort William [18:27]
This year my dad and I decided to walk the West Highland Way. Due to the lack of time we had only 5 days to walk, so we decided to skip the part of Glasgow and Loch Lomond, and start at Inverarnan. From there to Fort William would be a 90 kilometer long walk. We walked from april the 23th till the 27th. For me the temperatures were perfect for long distance walking. It was about 5 - 15 degrees, and we have had quite a lot of sun. Only Wednesday was rainy and stormy. We had booked the places to sleep by ourselve. We were very happy about the accomodation, except for the bunkhouse in Bridge of Orchy, wich was more like an old military barrack to me. I have really enjoyed myselfe during the long distance walk and I'll definetily will come back to Scotland to walk the whole trail! The music I used for this film is not my own. This Fire Truck is Also a Guest House [01:02]
Stay Inside a Historic Fire Truck - as part of the travel series by GeoBeats. For those who want to venture beyond a typical hotel room, give the Beer Moth truck a try! The Beer Moth is a retired fire service truck, belonging to Walter, the owner of a guest house in Scotland. The 1956 truck came from the Manston Fire Museum in Kent. Inside, you'll find an oak floor, a Victorian double bed, seating areas, and there's even a fireplace. You also get your own kitchen. Price starts from about $100 a night for this unique rural experience. It seems like more and more of such unusual rental places are coming up around the world. Spheres, found in Canada and elsewhere, they are suspended from a web of rope and offer you a great way to connect with nature. Then there's the Dog Bark Park Inn in Cottonwood, United States -where you get to stay inside a dog. Still not unique enough for you? How about a stay in a windmill from the 18th century? What's the strangest place you have stayed at?
