Yesterday, 2 March, was a beautiful Spring day in Anstruther, Fife, Scotland. The outdoor cafes were busy, the world famous fish restaurant had a half-hour queue as we found out - still waited though! And the organ grinder was out - perfect day!

Things Canadians Do - ice fishing Jack (& a brief history of Scotland) [06:30]
Another day, got a couple northern pike (Jackfish), the life of an ice fisherman is hard, I set up my shanty as an office away from the office. Big crack in the ice. Micky reports in from the Isle of Islay in Scotland, and by chance Badger also reports back from Scotland. Learning about Scottish history and ice fishing go hand in hand.

Scotland - Portree, Isle of Skye [01:49]
During our three day visit to Skye we stayed in the attractive town of Portree. Located on the east side of the island, Portree has lots of accommodation and restaurants to choose from which makes it a great base while on the island. Our B&B, The Pink Guest House, was located right on the harbor. Next door the Pier Hotel had an outstanding little restaurant that served freshly caught fish. Both The Pink Guest House and the Pier Hotel restaurant are highly recommended.
