Royal Regiment of Scotland, Stirling

On Saturday 10th March, the Royal Regiment of Scotland received the honour of 'Freedom of the City' from the City of Stirling. After marching from the Castle, down Broad Street and Baker Street, along to the Albert Halls, they headed to Old Viewforth to be inspected by Provost Fergus Wood and Lord Lieutenant Marjory McLachlan. The soldiers on parade, and the colours flying, are from the 7th battalion, a Territorial Army battalion based across the north of Scotland including Stirling.
