    tig! Hello!
I have not been here for ages either. Oh, fun to see an old face again. Well, in a manner of speaking

    How's things with you?

I seem to recall that you live in Glasgow, possibly near Springburn? Are you still hereabouts, or have you emigrated to Alaska or Zanzibar or somewhere?

The daft thing is that what brought me here is that I had been making a joke to someone on Twitter, whereby I said that he might as well write an article on current political developments in Khalmakistan, send it to some newspapers, and see who falls for it.

And when today, I suddenly worried whether I had spelled the name of this completely non-existent country correctly, I put Khalmakistan into Google, and the first result involved Scotland.com.

      Hi Ceyln

im good thanks, how are you these days?

im still in glasgow but moved house a while ago so just been busy working away and just really forgot about these forums to be honest what with facepal and twitter most of these forums are struggling for posts.

nice to see some old names still kicking about though.

your twitter pal would probably get away with the story in most places now considering theres world leaders running about making up events and stories etc lol

Hello to you both, I still pop in regularly to see what isn't happening in here

Went to Glen Strathfarrar mid February and the weather was wonderful, just as we
expected...snow, rain, sleet, wind and more of the same all 10 days of it !

Hoping May will be better as we are taking my 87 year old mum to Montrose for a break

          Hello, Babz!

Well, May *should* be better weather. I hope so, anyway.

          Sunny here today.

            Hi Babz
nice to hear from you too.
glad you had a good time on your break, not decided on where my hols will take me this year yet but i cant really be bothered with anything to exotic this time around, a wee airbnb somewhere quiet up north will do the trick i think.

Ooh, Babz!!!! I really hope that there will be good weather for your Mum. Well, obviously wishing for good weather for everyone, but perhaps special for a 87-year old lady.

Regarding Montrose, would it amuse you to hear that a friend of mine once thought it sounded very "exotic"?

We were in Aberystwyth, and I was explaining to her that I was sorry not to be able to go to her party, and once she got the idea - that is, interview on Friday morning in Aberdeen needs me to travel and overnight on Thursday in Aberdeen, said this would be a horrible journey for me.

When I said "but on the way back home, my friend who will have been spending that week with her parents in Montrose, says she will meet me at Dundee train station and drive me to her flat in Cupar, she said "Montrose! Cupar! It sounds very exotic".

Not many people have ever called Cupar or Montrose "exotic". My friend from Montrose had many laughs about it.
