              Hello

              Hi St. Andrews!
Thank you for the welcome! Sorry it took so long to respond.
I hope to come over to Scotland sometime later this year and would love to chat and get to know a down to earth, fun loving, real (honest) Scotsman.
I currently live in Newport, Kentucky. What do you do for fun in St. Andrews?

One fun thing I enjoyed doing in St A was having a tea break in a nice warm tea house while watching the golfers on the green turn a lovely shade of blue in the wind off the sea . . . . good times! LOL

I think that would be most peoples' idea of fun in St Andrews

Kentuckylassie, St Andrews, the birthplace of golf, is known for its oldish buildings, ancient cathedral built in 1158, and its university where Prince William met Kate. The beach is where they filmed the running scene in Chariots of Fire. And that's about it. Local students frequent the pub for fun but even they are reasonably well behaved as to be anything else would be frowned upon.

The other notable thing about it is...I was born there. They just forgot to put up the plaque.
