think theyve climbed as high as they get with their current squad, finances and board room bickering.

Rangers will struggle

They had no competition before, plus the Scottish Championship is a tough league this season as you have two primership sides which went down.

I think Hearts has a lot of stability now through the boardroom and down to managerial level.

It will be interesting to see how Hibs perform

For Rangers to go up they are going to have to make their own luck, and show some good performances - look at the opportunities they had on Sunday and blew it.

The bookies were offering odds of 1/4 which would suggest they were absolute certainties to win the league but I think they'll probably struggle to finish ahead of Hearts. Hibs are an unknown quantity - last season they struggled to score but now even their goalkeeper is knocking in goals.

2 Clubs went up this Season, Dundee FC, and Hamilton.

Scottish Premiership

The 12 clubs play 38 matches, with a split into a top and bottom six after 33 games. At the end of the season, the bottom club is relegated while the club in 11th place face the Championship play-off winners over two legs.

Scottish Championship

The 10 clubs play 36 matches. The champions are promoted to the Premiership and clubs in 2nd, 3rd and 4th enter two-legged play-offs. The winner of 4th v 3rd plays 2nd, with the winner of that tie up against the club finishing 11th in the Premiership. The bottom club is automatically relegated and the 9th-placed club goes into a play-off with the 2nd, 3rd and 4th placed clubs from the League One.

Is it a wee bit premature to say that Hearts are doing no bad so far ?

The fact Celtic gubbed us recently in the League Cup shows there's a still a long way to go to compete in the Premier League though ! But, fingers crossed !
