Are you created in God's image?

"The God of the Old Testament is arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully."
Į Richard Dawkins, The God Delusion

    Deuteronomy 32:4
He is the Rock, his work is perfect

    Matthew 5:48
Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Scriptures tell us to be like God and emulate all he does as we are to follow in his footsteps.

If you are a Christian, are you capable of following your God?

Would you be able and willing to do some of the things the bible shows God doing?

Are you created in Godís image?

    Regards
    DL

Can you follow God without being a Christian? Or indeed, without even acknowledging (or believing in) His existence?

Those in other religions think and say they do.

Can you be a moral Christian and follow a God who is anything but moral?

Are you not capable of answering my question and is that why you deflected it?

Can you not face the truth?

          Regards

I didn't deflect anything. Your question makes no sense to me as I am not a Christian.

And your new questions are just as bizarre - "Can you be a moral Christian and follow a God who is anything but moral?" Seriously. What does that even mean?

            Tell you what . . . don't bother.

I won't. I am using words above your pay scale.

Clearly. And what an ambassador you are for your religion. Seriously, I'm shocked that every member of this forum isn't commenting, desperate for more of your worldly wisdom
