  • Look What I Got

Here is the new addition to our family, she is called Suki (Jim chose her name) and is settling
in nicely, we got her on Saturday from my friend Paula whose cat had eight kittens......
    6 were black...1 ginger and one Tortieshell(Calico)

Suki is of course the tortie...looks like she will be semi long haired

She is a real livewire and has already made it known she is the boss, we can't sit on the
settee as she hogs the middle of it

Oh, lovely! But if she is called "Suki", does that mean she will always take the kettle off, and you can't have tea?

Its ok at the minute Celyn as she is way toooooo tiny to turn the kettle off
and I am going to train her not to touch anything electrical

She looks sweet and scary at the same time.
So what is this really, a Tortie or a Calico? There's a slight difference you know. Calico cats are mostly white with black and bright orange spots. Tortie cats have the same colors, but very little or no white on them at all. So I am guessing this is more of a Tortie, right?

Didn't know there was a difference...there doesn't seem to be over here in the UK.
Her colouring has altered slightly as she more white coming through, she even has 2 white whiskers.

She is nearly 8 months now and on Tuesday has a visit to the vets...no babies for her...she is still an
indoor kitty, even though she spends a lot of time watching the birds through the screen door she has not
made too many attempts to get out.
We are hoping that she will calm a little after her op. as we have been told it often happens, not that she
            is too bad.
She has stopped clawing at the wallpaper and the doors now.

Jim is even teaching her to fetch her toys back to him when she wants to play she does it as well !!

Hey Cel....she isn't turning the kettle off so we still get our cuppa's
