    Do you want each of those words translated individually?

    glaikit (not glakkit): stupid
    scratcher: bed
    mingin: smelly
    cloot: a dustcloth or dish-rag
    lobby: hm.. all i can think of is our front hall-way.
    boggin: smelly, dirty
    clout: strike or hit
    cappy: (dont know)
    shoogle (not shougle): to shake or jiggle about
    scuddie (not skuddy): naked

      The only thing I'd add to what T-Brox kindly posted would be:

      Cappy: The only thing I can think of is; as kids my family and I would want "cappy cones" i.e. 99's. (the soft ice cream ones)

      Mingin and boggin: People I know also use these words to describe something disgusting as in; "Christ! See that top she's got on? It's boggin/minging" or "Don't fancy yours much mate; she's boggin."

        I love the Scottish word "tup". Wonder if anyone knows what it means. :-)

          Tup isn't just Scots. It is used in English too, as I'm sure just about every farmer in the British Isles could tell you.

          A tup is a young ram. Tup can also be used as a verb, in which case it describes the action young rams are known to perform with young ewes during the mating season.
