  • How Often Should You...

REPLACE YOUR TOOTHBRUSH: Get a new one about every three months or when the bristles begin to show wear, whichever comes first. You should replace your toothbrush after you've been sick, since it can carry germs.

CLEAN YOUR EARS: Your inner ear should be cleaned once a month using a mixture of half water and half hydrogen peroxide. Squeeze a few drops into your ears, wait one or two minutes, then rinse away. Never force a cotton swab into your ear.

APPLY SUNSCREEN: Skin exposed to the sun should be covered with sunscreen. Apply the sunscreen 30 minutes before going outside, and reapply every 90 minutes; more frequently if you're swimming.

FLOSS YOUR TEETH: You should spend 2-3 minutes working the floss up, down, and around each tooth at least once a day after brushing.
