Looking for a connection between the surname Bouckley (my grandfather) and the clan Barclay.

Origin of the clan stems from Roger de Berchlai who came over with William the Conqueror in 1066 or 1067. The Anglo Saxon translation of this name was Beau (Beautiful) and Lee
(meadow or field). Bou (ck) ley would also be representative of this translation (maybe).

Hm. Sorry to say I have found nothing, but I will keep on trying.
