Cairn And Heather Scottish Highlands Of Scotland [00:39]
Tour Scotland video of a Scottish Cairn surrounded by heather on visit to the Scottish Highlands. Cairn is a word for a man-made pile, or stack, of stones. It comes from the Scottish Gaelic: càrn.. Cairns are found all over Scotland in uplands, on moorland, on mountaintops, on islands, by rivers and on sea cliffs, and also in the Lowlands. This cairn was built as a memorial to a bagpiper.
2012 Tough Mudder Scotland [14:31]
My running of the 2012 Tough Mudder in Scotland on July 14. I ran the race with a kidney stone passing. Made me sick and in pain, but finished! Then, went to the hospital. Sitll, had a blast and will be running the race again! This video is for educational purposes only.

Tough Mudder - Scotland 14th July 2012 in 3 mins (most of it) [03:10]
This was our first Tough Mudder and I think we've caught the bug! Filmed using 2 head-mounted DogCam Bullet HD Wide cameras and a handy-cam. The waterproof seal on one of the Bullets wasn't up to the task and we ended with a moisture build-up... It was a great course! We'll be looking at doing another in the coming year I think! Scotland - Western Isles & West Coast Cycle Tour 2012 (The Return) [14:22]
After last year's amazing cycle tour of the Western Isles & West Coast I decided to return one year on. Slightly modified trip from last year but again starting and finishing in Oban. Tour visited Barra, Vatersay, Mingulay, Eriskay, South Uist, Benbecula, North Uist, Berneray, Harris,, Lewis, St Kilda, Skye and Mull. Highlights included visiting St Kilda, climbing Clisham on Harris and the weather...amazingly it only rained once in two weeks :).

Suilven and Stac Pollaidh Mountains via canoe trip on Cam Loch [04:16]
We canoed into Cam Loch and camped wild before heading off to Suilven. We ascended from the South East over all 3 tops to the summit at Caisteal Liath. Rosie the German Shepherd was a ' real ' mountain dog. Next day we went to Stac Pollaidh, which was very busy due to the bank holiday and fine weather. The views were amazing from both Scottish mountains! We didn't encounter many midges and everywhere we went you could here the call of the cuckoo.
