Scotland Highlands Trip [07:20]
We took a small tour bus up into the Highlands for a majestic wondrous visit. Along the way, we stopped for food and took photos of the waterfalls cascading down the steep mountains. We also toured Loch Lomand with a fun skipper. A special treat was seeing the sun set over the lake.

Torphichen and Bathgate Pipe Band - British Championships, 2011 [05:49]
Torpichen and Bathgate Pipe Band playing in the British Pipe Band Championships held in Annan, Scotland on 25 June 2011. The band is led by Pipe Major Stuart Shedden and Leading Drummer Callum Firth. The band's medley comprises: Angus MacKenzie of Dumbarton, Ryan's Reason, Last Tango in Harris, Jimmy Ward's Jig, Lily's March, The Smith's a Gallant Fireman, The Old School House, McFadden's Reel, Caithness Reel, and Dancing Feet. This is, I think, the only UK Grade One pipe band which has not been documented on this channel until now. I was determined last season to rectify this. I recorded the band at Gourock - only to have their performance interrupted by a loudspeaker reminder to head over to the bungy jumping. I also recorded the band at Dunbar - but someone had the great idea of holding the Grade One competition next to a specially customised car which bounced up and down while emitting loud music from a number of speakers. Even here, at Annan, there is more crowd noise than there should be for a major championship.
