Burns Night : Addressing the Haggis : John Knox in the Crypt of the Guildhall, London January 2013 [02:49]
Fair fa' your honest, sonsie face, Great chieftain o' the puddin-race! Aboon them a' ye tak your place, Painch, tripe, or thairm: Weel are ye wordy of a grace As lang's my arm. The groaning trencher there ye fill, Your hurdies like a distant hill, Your pin wad help to mend a mill In time o' need, While thro' your pores the dews distil Like amber bead. His knife see rustic Labour dight, An' cut ye up wi' ready slight, Trenching your gushing entrails bright Like onie ditch; And then, O what a glorious sight, Warm-reekin, rich! Then, horn for horn, they strech an' strive: Deil tak the hindmost! on they drive, Till a' their weel-swall'd kytes belyve, Are bent like drums; Then auld Guidman, maist like to rive, 'Bethankit!' hums. Is there that owre his French ragout Or olio that wad staw a sow, Or fricassee wad mak her spew Wi' perfect sconner, Looks down wi' sneering, scornfu' view On sic a dinner? Poor devil! see him owre his trash, As feckless as a wither'd rash, His spindle shank, a guid whip-lash, His nieve a nit; Thro' bluidy flood or field to dash, O how unfit! But mark the Rustic, haggis-fed, The trembling earth resounds his tread. Clap in his walie nieve a blade, He'll make it whissle; An' legs, an' arms, an' heads will sned, Like taps o' thrissle. Ye Pow'rs wha mak mankind your care, And dish them out their bill o 'fare, Auld Scotland wants nae skinking ware That jaups in luggies; But, if ye wish her gratefu' prayer, Gie her a Haggis!

Intern Celebration Event [00:25]
An event to celebrate 20 interns who are completing yearlong internships at museums and galleries across Scotland took place yesterday in St Cecilia's Hall, Edinburgh. The programme, which has been hailed a success by the museums and interns, has helped to secure an important legacy of future skills for the museums sector and plans are already in place to run the programme again in 2013. The MGS interns each received a certificate presented by the Cabinet Secretary for Culture and External Affairs, Fiona Hyslop. Images by Rob McDougall

Cullen Trainz HD DVD [57:48]
Before Beeching , there were thousands of miles of track on an island hundreds of miles long ! Scotland was one of the biggest victims of the cuts and has never recovered. Now, with the help of TRAINZ c. I have recreated the Coast Line of the Great North of Scotland Railway. Using 1830's maps,Google Earth , Old Pix & Local Knowledge of the area , here is the first installment of over 18 months of work to bring back to life the Cullen to Buckie section. In 3 parts , as it was in colour , as it was on old film and as it could be if it were still operating. It does make it almost an hour long but I think it's worth it. Further work has already been done going South towards Banff and Cairnie Junction with the line to Elgin as the next project ! Apologies for the quality of some of this as I just stuck it on here as a taster to show what I'm doing with it. Busy making Big Money movie at present also now on You Tube ( Ad only ) Movie to follow when shooting has ended . . . . . Subscribe eh ? & keep up to date.
