SCOTLAND 2012! [03:08]
Some photos from my holiday to (mostly Northern) Scotland in July/August 2012. We travelled around for two weeks and two days. First we went to Aberdeenshire to see some friends whom I haven't seen in at least a year! I didn't get many photos there as I was mostly socialising...and also we weren't really going around looking at stuff, we were mostly in their house. Next, en route to the Isle of Skye, we went to Loch Ness. I had never been to Loch Ness before, despite the fact that I lived in Scotland until I was nearly 12! I was rather excited about going, but found it rather underwhelming. Also, it was practically impossible to get good photos of it because trees line the entire thing! Still, if you really wish to go, it would be worth it to stop in Fort Augustus and Invermoriston! Next up, the Isle of Skye, where we spent a week! The highlights of the Isle of Skye included Old Man of Storr and Dunvegan Castle..although everything was great! There are no photos of the inside of Dunvegan Castle because photography wasn't allowed inside! BOO! Then we drove down to Southern Scotland to the lovely town of Peebles, where I used to live until I was nearly 12! I stayed at a friends' house and I also managed to catch up with a lot of people that I haven't seen in over a year! We spent 4 nights/5 days there, but, again, I didn't get many ...
