Tour Scotland video of the painted ceiling in St Mary's Church on visit to Grandtully, Highland Perthshire. This Scottish church was endowed by Sir Alexander Stewart of Grandtully in 1533, and restored in 1636. Its main southern section is most unusual in having a barrel-vaulted roof, lined with timber, which is brilliantly painted in tempera, with renaissance decoration, heraldic panels and portraits of the evangelists and other Biblical subjects. It commemorates Sir William Stewart who died 1646, and his wife Dame Agnes Moncreiff. Included in the heraldry are the arms of The Duke of Lennox and the Earl of Atholl, both of whom were Stewarts.

Tour Scotland Winter video shot this morning of the Millais Viewpoint by the River Tay, on visit to Perth, Perthshire, Scotland. This unique sculpture by Timothy Shutter, 1997, can be found on looking west across the Tay from the Perth Sculpture Trail. One of Millais' famous pictures is "Autumn Leaves" and these form part of the frame. The cut corners refer to immortality and are reminders of Effie Gray, Millais' wife. John Everett Millais painted many of his famous works in Perth.

BACHMANN BLUE PULLMAN (Model Rail Scotland 2012 pt10) [04:27]
In this part we take a look at Bachmann's forthcoming Blue Pullman model in OO scale. 1st we see it as unpainted demo model, followed by a brief look at some other new items from Bachmann. We then take another look at the Blue Pullman, but as the painted version with full yellow ends. I think though the original full blue front end version may be the most popular seller, when it goes on sale later this year (later this year hopefully!!). The view of the painted version was taken at Railfest this week, not at Model Scotland. For the last part of this video, we take a look at a DCC layout Devilla Colliery, with DCC sounds a plenty.
