Isle of Mull Part 6. Iona. [04:22]
Part 6 sequence of the Isle of Mull tour is the lovely little island of Iona. It is here where Christianity first arrived in Scotland and the church is built on that site. This visit was part of the Fingals Cave tour and although we had nearly two hours here Iona deserves more time than that to explore it properly. It can become rather busy withy other visitors at peak holiday time but certainly well worth time to visit here. Iona is just off the coast from Mull and along with the boat tours which visit here you can make you own way over by using the CalMac ferry.
Oban to Mull. [05:39]
This is part one of my Isle of Mull holiday and concentrates on the ferry crossing from Oban to Mull. The ferry ride is only about 40 minutes but on a nice day the scenery is wonderful with views of the south east coast of Mull and also some of the west coast of mainland Scotland.

Music by Mike Oldfield (Flowers of the forest). One of the smaller islands of the Hebrides. It's very quiet and peaceful over there because there are not many tourists. There are no spectacular sights but driving along the coast is very pleasant and sometimes you can watch an old castle or a waterfall. The easiest way to come to the island is to get the Oban-Craignure ferry. Pilgrims come to the island in order to travel further to Iona, this island is very near to Mull.
