Cal Mac special winter trip 2011 [11:48]
In the deep mid winter Caledonian McBrayne were moving MV Clansman from Oban to Adrossan and an coastal cruising enthusiast made the suggestion, which was taken up, that she could carry passengers. Leaving Oban, with a light dusting of snow, MV Clansman sedately sailed through the Straights of Lorn, around the Mull of Kintyre, passed Arran to the destination of Adrossan. An excellent time was had be all. Fingers crossed for the next time. A longer memory of the event is available on dvd. email through youtube

Westward Bound-A pictorial tour of Western Scotland
I took a 15 day Island Rover Ticket with Caledonian McBrayne at the end of June 2009. I visited Arran,the Mull of Kintyre,Islay,Oban,Mull,the Outer Hebrides and the Isle of Skye.
