This is my first feeble attempt at timelapse photography. Shot on July 26th 2012 from 5.30 till 9 o'clock in the morning in 10 second intervals with a GoPro Hero2 at a wild campsite off the Great Glen Way in Northern Scotland.

Tom Ponkin's Grand Tour of Scotland. Chapter One - Glen Nevis. Filmed during the first week of July 2012 and during a balmy spell of great weather over the western Highlands. Base camp was the Highland Hotel in Fort William, a 'Lochs and Glen's' Hotel that caters for - shall we say - a more mature clientele. Fortunately for me, they often have rooms to spare and do great deals for self-drivers.

Tyndrum and Cononish [07:23]
Backpacking and Camped with my Son John at Cononish near Tyndrum. The weather was fair then it turned to snow but not too heavy. Had a walk in the hills and may have come across gold in a stream. There is a working Gold mint at Cononish. Gold can be found in the rivers and streams of that area. Its a lovely area round there and some fine walks at the very edge of the National Park. The west highland way passes North to south near Tyndrum.
