Arrival Window Cathedral Dunblane Scotland [00:33]
Tour Scotland video of the Arrival stained glass windows on visit to the Cathedral in Dunblane near Stirling. The right and left hand lights depict the Virgin Mother and Simeon. The large tapers behind these figures recall the feast of the Purification, or Candlemas. At the base of the central portion of this window is seen a boat coming into the haven. Above the haven to which the boat is sailing is introduced, in the right of the two central lights, the meeting of Mother and Child, in Heaven with roses falling earthward from Paradise. In the left, three angels are shown holding out a crown and standing on a cloud, with roses falling from it. A vessel from which gushes the Water of Life is seen beside them.
Compassion of Christ Window Cathedral Dunblane Scotland [00:53]
Tour Scotland video of the Compassion of Christ stained glass windows on visit to the Cathedral in Dunblane near Stirling. The four central lights, each divided into three sections, illustrate a separate aspect of our Lord's compassion. The light to the left portrays Christ's compassion to the individual and shows, from the bottom, Mary Magdalene, Peter, and the two blind men. The light next to it shows compassion in general, with Christ the Good Shepherd at the bottom, the weeping over Jerusalem next and, at the top, the feeding of the five thousand. Our Lord's compassion through his parables is illustrated in the easternmost light, showing, from the bottom, the thirsty being given drink, the return of the prodigal son and the good Samaritan. Next to it is illustrated compassion through the Cross, beginning at the bottom with Gethsemane, and in the centre Christ carrying the Cross, culminating with Christ crucified at the top.

Four imposing, grand architectural columns highlight the greatness of this beautifully restored Georgian mansion. The entry and adjoining sitting rooms are a visual feast with much deliberate thought and attention to detail. Both chic commingled with traditional, contemporary wed with cultural whimsy, a most delicious ambiance ensues. The house is a sensory delight on every level. The colors, the feel, the smells, the taste and the sounds of nature in the surrounding gardens...nurtures my aesthetics, my soul and my palate. First we were invited to sit by the fire in the parlor while we looked over the menu selections. It was unanimous...three smoked salmon, cream cheese and chives sandwiches on brown bread. I was like a kid in a fancy candy store bouncing from room to room, camera in hand gobbling up all the sweet visual treats. Everything about being at the Boath House was elegantly, delicious. I loved everything about having the tea in the dining room. The view out the windows competed for attention with the beautifully lit art, splashed about the room. From the crystal candlesticks to the wine corks in the fireplace, every item played a part in the perfect symphony of the decor. Everything that touched my lips was of the finest quality...The array of fine teas; the perfection of the clotted cream and preserves complimenting the sublime scone; followed ...
