PICTURES OF TRIP FROM BUCKIE SCOTLAND OUT TO ST. KILDA WITH ALFIE CHEYNE [08:40]
This is pictures put together of a beautiful and stunning trip with the vessel GEMINI EXPLORER starting out from Buckie in the northern part of scotland, sailing up and through the celedonian canal, through Lochness and coming out on the westcoast of scotland. The trip whent from there a bit south, turned around and whent all the way up to the hebrides, out to the outer hebrides and after that heading to St. Kilda in the Atlantic ocean. Some photos from the island and some from the trip itself. Idea for the trip, organizing and all the rest was done by ALFIE CHEYNE who was along on the trip and invited me to joint it. Thank You for a nice time, will keep it in my memory and hereby share it with other as well.

Scotland - Western Isles & West Coast Cycle Tour 2012 (The Return) [14:22]
After last year's amazing cycle tour of the Western Isles & West Coast I decided to return one year on. Slightly modified trip from last year but again starting and finishing in Oban. Tour visited Barra, Vatersay, Mingulay, Eriskay, South Uist, Benbecula, North Uist, Berneray, Harris,, Lewis, St Kilda, Skye and Mull. Highlights included visiting St Kilda, climbing Clisham on Harris and the weather...amazingly it only rained once in two weeks :).

The last native St Kildans have deserted the island in 1930 after the population dropped to 36. Ever since, the only people walking the grassy lands and admiring the cliffs are the scientists and volunteers of the National Trust for Scotland. Thanks to this film we too are able to enjoy the stunning island view, and at the same time hear the extensive history of the extraordinary human life on St Kilda.
