Saint Fillan was a Celtic/Scottish Saint in the X files tradition being attributed with great powers over the forces of nature and was said at one point to be able to glow in the dark. In the old Catholic tradition the Patron Saint of the Mentally ill. Great miracle cures were said to take place at both the Holy Pool on the A82 road at Strafthfillan, south of Glencoe in Scotland. The insane were immersed in the pool and would take part in a cleansing ritual involving walking round a cairn - then they would be taken to the Priory about half a mile down the track where they were bound and left overnight. For some their bonds would be supernaturally freed overnight and these people were said to be cured by the powers of the Holy Spirit. Music is myself on electric fiddle with a couple of traditional celtic jigs; morrisons and the full rigged ship. Other powers were attributed to the relics and bones of St Fillan and it is believed that some of Scotlands major battles in the wars for independence were influenced by this Saint. en.wikipedia.org
