Loch Lomond, Trossachs - Gorgeous Spring Day. [03:25]
Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park (Scottish Gaelic: Pàirc Nàiseanta Loch Laomainn is nan Tròisichean) is a national park in Scotland centred on Loch Lomond, and includes several ranges of hills, the Trossachs being the most famous. It was the first of the two national parks established by the Scottish Parliament in 2002, the second being the Cairngorms National Park. The park is the fourth largest in the British Isles, with a total area of 1865 km² (720 mi²) and a boundary of some 350 km (220 mi) in length. It includes 21 Munros (including Ben Lomond, Ben Lui, Beinn Challuim, Ben More and two peaks called Ben Vorlich), 20 Corbetts, two forest parks (Queen Elizabeth, and Argyll) and 57 designated special nature conservation sites. 15600 people live in the park, which is customarily split into four sections: Breadalbane, Loch Lomond, The Trossachs, and Argyll Forest Park. en.wikipedia.org

Scottish National Anthem - Flower of Scotland - w/Lyrics [02:06]
Lyrics: O Flower of Scotland, When will we see your like again That fought and died for Your wee bit hill and glen. And stood against him, Proud Edward's army, And sent him homeward To think again. The hills are bare now, And autumn leaves lie thick and still O'er land that is lost now, Which those so dearly held That stood against him, Proud Edward's army And sent him homeward To think again. Those days are past now And in the past they must remain But we can still rise now And be the nation again! That stood against him Proud Edward's army And sent him homeward To think again.

The Electric Brae [00:35]
A car appears to roll uphill at the Electric Brae just south of Ayr in Scotland. The car has its engine running but is in neutral. It's just an optical illusion caused by the shape of the hills, but it's a really good one!

gold panning perthshire scotland uk [14:16]
the bigger gold flakes where higher up than the the smaller bits, must have been washed down stream recently after the winter rains. the largest gold flakes i have found have been at the side of small burns in the moss on the river Gary up from calvine, further up from here at turrerich burn. the biggest nugget was about half the size of a thumb about 5 miles north on a ploughed field laying on the surface, still trying to get permission to return there. 1 days panning for the fakes on the rock, about a week at the lead hills 48 grams, tyndrum for the small nuggets in the tube if only you could get a jcb to move some big boulders out the way ? £££. quickest way to check if there's gold is find some moss at or in the river and pan that as the gold always gets caught in it

The Isle of Skye, Scotland [07:33]
Just a week long stay in Epona Cottage on the island of Skye off the west coast of Scotland. Highlights included visiting the Talisker Distillery; seeing Portree harbour; strolling around the MacCleod graveyard; hiking down to Neist Point (the lighthouse where Breaking the Waves was filmed) and many numerous walks over hills, headlands and wee stone bridges like the Fairy Bridge at Dunvegan.
