West Highland Way - Glasgow to Milngavi (HD) [03:30]
15th April 2012 Me and my dad traded the Netherlands for 10 days of Scotland And there we walked the West Highland Way. This is a picture slide of day 0 and day 1 Day 0 - Depart from Amsterdam and Fly to Glasgow Day 1 - Walk from Glasgow Bluesky Hostel to Milngavi via Kelvingrove Park following the River Kelvin and Allander water. Except for the litter we found this day one of the best days of the West Highland Way - It was the silence and the wheater i guess that made this first day previous to the official start so good. The Isle of Skye, Scotland [07:33]
Just a week long stay in Epona Cottage on the island of Skye off the west coast of Scotland. Highlights included visiting the Talisker Distillery; seeing Portree harbour; strolling around the MacCleod graveyard; hiking down to Neist Point (the lighthouse where Breaking the Waves was filmed) and many numerous walks over hills, headlands and wee stone bridges like the Fairy Bridge at Dunvegan.

West Highland Way - Scotland [01:54]
In march 2012 I went to Scotland to walk the West Highland Way, a 153km hike from Glasgow to Fort William. We ended up hiking 173km which included a side walk to the Ben Nevis, Scotland's highest mountain. Despite the extra weight I took along my 7D, some lenses and a DIY camera slider. Before departure i just finished building the slider and wanted to test it in Scotland. It's not perfect yet, but the footage shows the effect I was aiming for.
