10 Mile Pink Ribbonwalk From Scone Palace Perth Perthshire Scotland May 12th 2012 [13:59]
Tour Scotland video of part of the 10 Mile Pink Ribbonwalk raising funds for Breast Cancer Care from Scone Palace by Perth, Perthshire. In this video walkers are walking through Scone Woods to the village of New Scone. The 10 mile Pink Ribbon Walk route had the same beginning and end as the 20 mile route. The route passed beautiful open farmland tracks and picturesque rural cottages before rejoining the 20 mile walk at the old ferry station at Waulkmill. It was a beautiful sunny morning for the start of this Charity fundraising walk.

Tour Scotland video of part of the 20 Mile Pink Ribbonwalk raising funds for Breast Cancer Care from Scone Palace by Perth, Perthshire. In this video walkers are walking through Scone Woods to the village of New Scone. From there the walkers continued along forest trails through Muirward Wood until they reached the ruins of Cambusmichael Church. From there they dropped down to the tree lined banks of the River Tay and enjoyed wonderful views along the scenic river path before returning to Scone Palace. It was a lovely morning for the start of this Charity fundraising walk.

The Big Small Isles Challenge 2012 [01:04]
The Small Isles consist of the islands of Rum, Eigg, Muck and Canna. On this innovative charity challenge event, you must visit all four of the Small Isles and climb to the highest point on each one. The itinerary provides the physical challenge of climbing 4 mountains over 2 days (ranging from 137m - 812m high), the excitement of high speed RIB boat transfers between the islands. The challenge is staged over two days, with the three lowest peaks being climbed on Day 2 and the highest peak, Askival on Rum, being climbed on Day 3. You will be dropped off in Mallaig late afternoon on Day 3.

Jimmy Reid Doon through the years by Arthur Johnstone [02:49]
A song about Jimmy Reid who led a work in on the Clyde shipyards by Arthur Johnstone . Reid came to prominence in the early 1970s when he led the Upper Clyde Shipbuilders Work-in to try and stop Edward Heath's Conservative government from closing down the shipyards on the River Clyde. The government had decided that the shipyards should operate without state subsidy, which would have resulted in at least six thousand job losses.[1] An engineer by trade and shop steward of the Amalgamated Union of Engineering Workers, Reid, along with his colleagues Jimmy Airlie and Sammy Barr, decided that the best way to show the viability of keeping the yards open was by staging a 'work-in' rather than by going on strike. This meant that the workers would continue to complete what orders the shipyard had until the government changed policy. In a famous speech given to the workers, Reid announced the workers control and discipline over the shipyard: " We are not going to strike. We are not even having a sit-in strike. Nobody and nothing will come in and nothing will go out without our permission. And there will be no hooliganism, there will be no vandalism, there will be no bevvying because the world is watching us, and it is our responsibility to conduct ourselves with responsibility, and with dignity, and with maturity.
