Steve Hanna, Convenor of the Clan Hannay Society, invites you to tour Sorbie Tower the ancient seat of all those named Hanna, Hannah, Hannay, Hanney, in Galloway, South West Scotland. The site includes a motte which dates back to circa 900ad and a fortified tower house dating from the 1500s. The property and grounds belong to the members of the Clan Hannay Society. We welcome all visitors to the site. We are hoping to restore the property to its former glory. The site is available for weddings and other functions as well as tours which must be pre-arranged in advance. Tours are free but a donation is appreciated and all funds raised from the above will go to Sorbie Tower Restoration Fund. Contact Steve on 07785544065.

Abandoned asylum. I liked the swimmng pool, I'd say it was the high light of this place, but the graffiti, as good as it was, kind of ruined it! Quite funny to see unopened enemas, you never know what you'll stumble across while exploring
