Scotland 2010: Edinburgh, Glasgow and Mallaig [04:24]
This 4-minute video was created with still photographs and video clips taken from my 2010 holiday in Scotland (UK). As you will see, some of my favorite regions include: Scotland's capital city (Edinburgh), Scotland's largest city (Glasgow), and a lovely port town located along the west coast of the highlands (Mallaig). While visiting Edinburgh, I would recommend visiting Arthur's Seat, Calton Hill, Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace, Princes Street Garden, and The Royal Mile. Special thanks to all the businesses featured in this video--for making me feel so welcome during my 2010 visit: The Elephant House, The Fudge House, and The Witchery Restaurant. Edinburgh is my absolute favorite city in the world with its unique combination of old town charm, gothic and medieval architecture, delicious food and fudge, a huge castle sitting on an extinct volcano, relaxing gardens built over a lake, and mysterious alleyways filled with "Harry Potter magic."

West Highland Way pt2 - 2011 [10:00]
Rowardennan, Ben Lomond, Rowchoish then Inversnaid. From Rowardennan, with slightly more than a quarter of the route walked, Ben Lomond attracts walkers off the Way to its 974m summit. This is one of the most climbed mountains in Scotland and for anyone walking the Watershed, the Graham Cruinn a Bheinn beckons while for Way walkers the Ptarmigan descent is the obvious return route to the Way. Sir Walter Scott:- "Right up Ben Lomond could he press, And not a sob his toil confess. His form accorded with a mind Lively and ardent, frank and kind;" Thereafter, the walk continues to Rowchoish bothy by a choice of route. Currently, an unmarked path departs the relatively easy high-level path and descends into what was years back the impenetrable east bank of Loch Lomond. Not much has changed on the lower path through the lochshore oakwoods except that the difficulty of jumping across a ledge above the Loch has been eliminated (either by a bridge or a detour -- haven't really worked that one out). This is a rough, obstacle filed challenging route and passing a recent memorial in the treacherous dense undergrowth certainly doesn't help to cheer you up either as the Way heads towards Rowchoish. The William Ferris bothy at the old now extinct village of Rowchoish provides basic shelter and is maintained by the MBA. There were 9-families at Rowchoish in 1759. Mr.Ferris was a past president of the Federation of Scottish Ramblers. Departing the 'William Ferris Memorial Shelter' a path ...

27/06/11 - Scotland [10:53]
Yes, the crazy shenanigans continue in Scotland this week. Sorry the video's a little long, we still had to cull a heap, there was just so much good footage because Scotland's so awesome and we're so funny. We show you the Loch Ness, bring you into castles, climb with you up an extinct volcano, and force-feed you haggis.
