LMS 46233 Duchess of Sutherland on the return leg of The Citadel Express from Carlisle to Crewe passes GWR Castle Class 5043 The Earl of Mount Edgcumbe south of Southwaite with a loud whistle from the Duchess . If things had run to time we would have passed with 5043 sat in Penrith loop but with both tours running late I got the chance to capture us pass each other .The Castle was on the Castle to Scotland tour .Sorry the sound is not brilliant as the mic does not like wind and speed as it moves the wire and causes the strange noise .

Compilation of phots and videos. My personal tribute to my favourite loco which im going to miss a hell of a lot! It doesnt seem 2 minutes ago since she first steamed in 2000 and the last 10 years have flown by =/ I will be helping out with the Overhaul of 6233 and bring regular video updates to Youtube so you all know whats happening =] Her last public running day is 6TH November at the Midland railway Centre if you want to ride behind the masterpiece one last time!
