Ultimate Abseil 2012 [59:21]
On Sunday 10th June 2012, over 300 brave souls abseiled "free fall" style 165 feet from the Forth Rail Bridge to the beach below. They raised over £101000 for Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland, an amazing achievement. Well done folks! This video is made up from clips taken from just before noon until around 3.15 pm when my hands were so cold I could no longer work the camera! I think there's around 120+ recogniseable faces in this video... Keep Scotland Beautiful is the charity that's at the heart of the Scottish Government's vision of our enjoying a cleaner, greener, safer and fairer Scotland. It's been operating now for over 40 years, moving on from its initial campaigns to clean up the country to a new focus on the environment, sustainable development and community engagement. One part of its responsibilities is to award the "Blue Flag" to the best beaches and shore lines around our coasts. The latest to receive the accolade is Portobello, otherwise known as Edinburgh's Seaside.

10 Mile Pink Ribbonwalk From Scone Palace Perth Perthshire Scotland May 12th 2012 [13:59]
Tour Scotland video of part of the 10 Mile Pink Ribbonwalk raising funds for Breast Cancer Care from Scone Palace by Perth, Perthshire. In this video walkers are walking through Scone Woods to the village of New Scone. The 10 mile Pink Ribbon Walk route had the same beginning and end as the 20 mile route. The route passed beautiful open farmland tracks and picturesque rural cottages before rejoining the 20 mile walk at the old ferry station at Waulkmill. It was a beautiful sunny morning for the start of this Charity fundraising walk.
