Trail Memorial Stained Glass Window St Machar's Cathedral Aberdeen Scotland [00:41]
Tour Scotland video of the James William Helenus Trail memorial stained glass window in St Machar's Cathedral on visit to Aberdeen. James was born on Birsay, Orkney. Educated in Aberdeen, he followed the classical curriculum, completing an arts degree in 1870. Trail was then permitted to study medicine, which allowed him to pursue his lifelong interest in natural history. During this time he was appointed as botanist on the Amazon Steam Navigation Company's explorations of Brazil, spending two years in the Amazon. Trail went on to complete his study of medicine graduating in 1876. He was appointed Regius Professor of Botany at Aberdeen University In 1877, and established the University Herbarium with his own plant collections and those bequeathed to him. Professor Trail died on 18th September 1919.

Tour Scotland video of of the Jessie Roger Grubb Memorial stained glass window in Martyrs Church on visit to St Andrews, Fife, Scotland. Jessie was born Janet Bett on 5th February, 1870 at Burnside, Auchtermuchty, Cupar, Fife, Scotland. Her parents were James Bett, a Gas Manager, and Janet Roger. Jessie was 26 when she married 48 year old Charles Grubb, a Grocer and Wine Merchant, on 15th June, 1896 at Don's Bank, Auchtermuchty. His parents were Charles Maitland Grubb, a Porter and Farmer at different times, and Maria Watson Gardiner. Jessie and Charles lived at St Columba's, 1 Murray Park, St Andrews, at least from 1915 until her death. Charles owned houses and shops at 84 and 86 Market Street where he had his own shop, and others which he let out to various businesses and tenants. Charles died of Cerebral Apoplexy at Kilmorack, Pitlochry, Perthshire on 7th June, 1925, aged 77. Jessie died from Arterio Sclerosis, aged 78, at home on 3rd February 1948. Above is the stained glass window in her memory in the Martyrs' Church, North Street, St Andrews.
Interior Parish Church Braemar Aberdeenshire Scotland [01:11]
Tour Scotland video of the interior of the Parish Church on visit to Braemar, Aberdeenshire. The inspiration for the building of this former Free Church in 1870 was the Reverend Hugh Cobban. Unusually, he was buried in the church, behind the pulpit. In the apse are four lancet stained glass windows with lilies, a branch with fruit and a tree with palms.

Here you can see little photos of our third holiday trip in Scotland. All photos are shot by Sony Alpha 33 (SLT camera) connected with Sony SAL-1870 DT3.5-5.6 1.3ft macro objective. All photos aren't reworked. Some photos has effects such as tonal separation, black-white, pop-colors, retro, high-key, part-colors and toys. Furthermore you can see some blend-portraits and to get light-tracks in night shots, the shutter speed was extended. In the background, you can hear chillout - music from Sun. The title of this song is Last Chance. The photos lost little quality by uploading, it's visual on the copy protection. Ps. Mitunter sind Bilder mit Tontrennung, Schwarzweiß, Pop-Farben, Retro, High-Key, Teilfarben und Spielzeugeffekten. Des Weiteren seht ihr Bendenporträts und bei manchen Nachtaufnahmen wurde, um Lichtspuren zu Erzielen, die Verschlusszeit verlängert. Im Hintergrund hört ihr Chillout - Musik von Sun. Der Song lautet Last Chance. Ps. Der Seehund und das Eichhörnchen waren lebendig und in freier Natur!!!
