Ships pass through the Suez canal in 1940

From a film taken between 1940 and 1949. Of the ships I can make out the ss British Commando and the ss Java. The ship at 0.59 is the EMPRESS OF SCOTLAND (formerly EMPRESS OF JAPAN) of Canadian Pacific, and at 1:48 we have the French passenger liner PASTEUR, according to viewer Paulo Mestre.
