from the Beatrix Potter Garden, Birnam, Scotland

Birnam and Dunkeld in Perthshire is a delightful part of Scotland, more peaceful and interesting than the bustling nearby Pitlochry. The huge ancient oak and sycamores are a wonder and The Hermitage is a dream woodland and waterfall place to visit. Also there is the quaint Beatrix Potter Exhibition and outside that an intriguing Beatrix Potter Garden. She used to come here for holidays when young and illustrated mushrooms.
