Wemyss Bay Station Pier & Bar

Built in 1903 this video shows the beautiflly restored Wemyss Bay Station and Pier. There is also a brief glimps inside the Station bar, where for the passing traveller or local, it provides a haven of tranquility and a hint of days gone by....There is in the winter a roaring coal fire to warm the cockles of your heart along with a malt from their well stocked gantry. Thanks to the locals and staff for permission to film within, and also the unprompted commentary. The station is also home to the Friends of Wemyss Bay Pier they have a bookshop located within the station concourse.
