Come to think of it, Daphne Broon bears a striking resemblance to the Rt Hon Anne Widdecombe, presently disporting herself (cringingly badly) on Strictly Come Dancing. She (Widders) was known in parliament as Doris Karloff when she had the same shockingly badly cut hair style as Daphne!

Anne gave one the impression that she had three breists and was constantly revolving these, "widdershins", by dexterous upper arm movements. An unorthodox Tory, foxhunting was a bete noir. Will Posh Dave bring back the hunt in Engerland and upset Widders? Tally Ho! wullie.
