Latest HOLYROOD Polls

Quote:
The Conservatives fell from 13% to 10% in the polls since a corresponding survey weeks after the General Election in May.

The figures, for the first-past-the-post constituency vote, will add to the pressure on the party with just nine months to go before next year’s Holyrood elections.

The party experienced a similar if smaller drop on the regional list vote, from 12% to 11%.

Although the Liberal Democrats are in coalition with the Tories at Westminster, the LibDem’s poll ratings remained flat at 11% and 12% respectively.

The TNS-BMRB poll also showed Labour holding on to a strong 14 percentage point lead over the SNP, on 46% compared to the nationalists 32%.

Similarly, Labour were ahead in the regional vote, on 42% compared to the SNP on 30%.
Once the campaign gets underway for Holyrood, Labour will suffer because this is them on a high.

A bit disappointed in female voters since apparently they are twice as likely to vote Labour as SNP

Polls were taken last week: I cannot find the original polls but this is from a poster on the Scotsman.

YouGov

Labour - 36%
SNP - 35%
Conservative - 14%
Lib Dems - 12%
Greens - ?

Ipsos Mori

Labour - 37%
SNP - 34%
Conservative - 11%
Lib Dems - 13%
Greens - ?""""

A 14% lead in the polls for either Labour or SNP is in reality a 7% swing back to either to get neck and neck.

The SNP are also good in campaigns, so it is promising.

Labour should keep up their filth slinging and lack of ideas as they do and the SNP will benefit I believe.
