tHE wEEK THAT was

Every Friday night, I imbibe.

I think it's a necessary evil to guard one's sanity.

This week, as with all weeks, there was the usual work related stresses but it's the weekend, so get drunk and f**k it all.

Up yer kilt lads and lassies.

Scots wha hae.

How was your week?

I've not imbibed for about 15 years and I don't think I'm missing much. I'm currently cycling about 100km a week and that's my means of reducing my stress levels. As long as I can find time to cycle I'm happy.

I might have imbibed, but not to that extent.

A brisk 2.5 mile walk round the loch with the dog is enough to clear the head.

My loch's a mile and a half, but I very much enjoy the half/hauf!

I don't have a loch. Are you people lairds o' the glen?

100 miles...

I barely walk to... anywhere but I do intend changing all that. I also need to go on a diet...

A diet, lose a lot of weight and do exercise. That is the plan for the 1st of June. That or an early death.

Death before dishonour.
