I don't have sufficient knowledge of it, how it is manufactured and supplied and its effects on a person's health to have any strong opinions about it at present but my view on any form of narcotics is that taking them generally has some detrimental effect on your health and wellbeing so they should be pro-actively discouraged even if they're not banned.

Is it as good as the Drynamyl/Duramyl and Dexydrene in my day ? Do you go through lots of chewing-gum on a weekend ?

The three-month guy looked not too bad but I think he must be allergic to it judging by the nasty rashes on his face.

Three of my wife's brothers and two sisters went onto shabu (methamphetamine) in the Philippines.

When we moved there, we took in the worst brother and gave him an ultimatum that we would look after him for a while but first sign of drugs in our house then out (we have 2 kids) ! He did clean up and started to eat and eventually looked good and did chores etc. The others would come to us time to time and always went away healthier than when they came.

After we left the Phils, all but two kept clean, one dabbling in shabu and the other hitting the shabu fully again. The last time we saw him, he was a lost cause, his mind gone completely, smiling and muttering to himself. Mmmm he could lead the Scottish parliament.
