Apparently my friend's daft big dog actually LIKES fireworks, and has fun trying to chase rockets. This has, predictably enough, about as much success as when she tries to chase any other flying things, but I suppose it is good that she's not scared of the blasted things.

I recall meeting a woman with a very sad snoozy little dog once: we were vaguely concerned in terms of "what is wrong with this dog? Is is mistreated or what?", and decided to have a casual chat with this dog owner, but it turned out that the lady had to take it to the vet to have it sort of sedated so as to tolerate the whole fireworks thing.

the green wasnt overly great i must say....the 30min display lasted 15 mins and the fun fair was so busy it was hardly worth the effort.

my mumsies dog used to get sleeping pills off the vet years ago cause it would freak out at the bangs and leave wee messages all over the place.

bonfire night take 2 and a barby on the bonny bonny banks tonight...if ur in the area pop along

(ill be well glad to get rid of all his gun powder out my house at last)
