Hotels in oban?

any recommendations?

for a couple, 1st time in scotland. got a budget of about £160 for the hotel for 2 nights.

I've stayed at Barcaldine House a couple of times, but I think that'd be too expensive for your budget.

A friend has stayed at the Queen's Hotel on the Corran Esplanade and said that it was nice and that the restaurant was good.

At 40 pounds/person per night, you might be better looking at some of the B&Bs locally - and I don't have any info on them.

Guest House Oban, Bed and Breakfast Scotland, Sutherland House We stayed there a few years ago and it was a perfect location! I have recommended it several times.

I went with Shearings coach holidays to Oban for five days and stayed at the Great Western Hotel overlooking the harbour. Only cost £99 for bed, breakfast and evening meal and the food was top class

I was at the Royal Hotel not that long ago, good prices and not a bad place to stay
