Commute - Elgin - Inverness

What is the commute like Elgin to Inverness?

Can anyone provide any information? Thank you.

It's about 45 mins by train

trainline: buy cheap train tickets, get UK train times & fares - book seats online



Driving does depend on the time you want to go, about 40 miles.

Nairn is a bottleneck at peak times

Thanks, I would leave early morning and return in the evening.

How long does it take to drive approx? Wats the road like?

Train would be good but the only deals I can get is
60 a week or annual card works out at 50 a week.

There is no dual carriageway till you get close to Inverness, my hubby just said it could take 1 to 1.5 hours
but if there is an accident along the main road the detours could take you an extra 30 mins unless you find
shortcuts.
