Ok, I looked at both Victoria Halls and Liberty House and they look great (especially Liberty House.) I'll probably decide after a bit more research. Would you recommend my getting a private flat over staying with a host family, then?

You could also try looking for or placing an ad via Gumtree Glasgow jobs, cars, property, free classifieds and more - Gumtree.com, other than that contact Strathclyde, Glasgow and Caledonian University, even if they can't help directly they may have information that you can use.

All the best!
