It’s a pity Wullie’s away, he would know. When it comes to the gay places in Glasgow you could do no better. It’s a laugh a minute round his way to hear him tell it. And if it’s a wacker you want as a companion round the Highlands he’s the very man. There is no mountain he hasn’t climbed, no river he hasn’t fished, no moor he hasn’t trod. He’s usually ready with advice, practical guidance and an all round one man tourist guide. You would be ill advised not to leave Glasgow without him or at least a wee bit briefing off him.

Well I see Crofter's escaped from the institution again, the electric shock treatment doesn't seem to have had much a lasting effect. It's Sarah Palin meets Flora Macdonald, only she's back to being a man in Lewis, has there been an operation/translocation?
You just get rid of one American nutcase and another pops up, a revolving transatlantic door!
wullie.

Well there’s gratitude for you. I just merely suggested that the queries about Glasgow would have been better addressed by you had you been here to answer them. After all, it’s not so long ago that you volunteered to help Raving Madman set his mother up with a gigolo.

I’ve even composed a little ditty that you could sing as you take the road to the Isles.

It goes something after this fashion;

From the Barras to the Skerries, from Argyll Street to Poolewe
A hitching and a hiking in the heather hills with you.
We’ll go jigging in the Hielands, we will taste the mountain dew
There’s nothing for it but to go there, och aye we’re off the noo.

You take the high road, I’ll take it too
And I’ll be in Scotland behind you
We will frolic in the Trossachs, we will ceilidh in the Lews
We’ll go dancing in the clachans on the banks of Lochan Dubh.
