Try going to Flotterstone which is a few miles to the south of Edinburgh. If you park your car and walk up to Glencorse reservoir and further up to Loganlea reservoir; it is a beautiful walk on a nice day.

My favorite place to eat in Edinburgh is Shakespeare's on Lothian Road. Favorite B&B is The Town House on Gilmore Place.
