Leaving for London, from Boston, 7/5 and onto Edinburgh Sunday night. Hamish did an excellent job making reservations for us.
Look forward to seeing my Scots ancestors.

Sorry Hannah Jane, but "ancestors" to me mean descendants that are dead, not living ones. Relatives or relations are the two words I would have used...That's why I asked.

Sorry to be pedantic!

Elmy, ancestors are parents, grandparents, etc. in a direct line who have gone before you. Descendants are children, grandchildren, etc. in a direct line who follow you... and ne'er the twain shall meet!

See these pedantic people.......I know what I thought I meant, but didn't word it correctly.
