2-1 for the boys ! Isn't it about time ? Nice to see Rangers doing something right. The Celtic fans were all singing happily when Konterman's name was announced before the match, since he's not that good and they know it. I guess he shut them up, eh ?

Not really mate. You'll hear loud choruses of Championees from the East End of Glasgow in the next few weeks. More than likely the League will be won before the split. No doubt, Celtic will also win the Scottish Cup and thus complete the double.

As Sounness once said you can win the Cup being Lucky but the team that wins the league prove that they are the best. Good Luck to Bertie Blunder. I hope that goal keeps him in the Rangers team as he is about as much use on a football pitch as an ashtray on a motorbike.

Hail, Hail from the Champions elect.

Georges,
good luck with the double (there's no debate that Celtic are the best right now), but don't count your chickens. I'm really a Hearts fan, though for obvious reasons (Caley Thistle ???) I keep it myself.

Bertie Blunder, eh ? As much use as a fart in a spacesuit ?

All the best,
Andy.

Talking

No wuckin furries mate.

I'm currently on holiday in Convict Land (Australia) and even in The Land Down Under Celtic seem to be 13 points clear at the top of the league with only 10 'games' to go. Can life get much better than reading the Scottish footy results while imbibing a lovely Aussie Red in the company of a lovely Aussie blonde?

After Celtic's unfortunate experience with Caley a couple of years ago I won't be too hard on our Jambo correspondent.

Ayr Utd for the CIS cup anyone?

G'day from the Top of the League.

The Outback No 1 CSC.

Georges,
I'm feeling for you right now, you're missing out on wind, gales, ferocious rain, and generally crappy weather - hope you're not feeling too homesick in Oz.

You being a Tic fan, what's your take on a new Euro Superleague - it's getting more and more pointless each year watching Celtic and Rangers fight it out for top dog (this is old hat, but still true), and I get the impressio that incorporating Scottish clubs into one big British League just isn't going to happen for a while. I'm also a C;ydebank fan (hometown), and they've struggled over the past few years, having no home ground for a start, and all teams like that can really do now is fart about in the relegation zone with no incentive (except money, which unfortunately I suppose it's all about now) or chance to get anywhere close to the top. Then again, Livingston did OK, they're only 30 pts behind Celtic, as good as it gets. In any case, something's got to give soon, I think.

Ayr might just sneak by Rangers, but I doubt it, Hibs have been in trouble for the last couple of months now, got a good spanking from M'well last weekend.

Anyhow, enjoy your Oz-time, when you come back, Rangers will be on track to take the League title (ah, the cold must be affecting my brain here ...),
all the best,
Andy.
