Question

Could anybody tell me the name of a typical scottish game that the objective is to throw as far as possible a pole of wood? I'd be very pleasead if soebody replies me.

Tossing the caber

The objective is not to toss the caber as far as possible; the objective is to toss the caber end over end and have it land in as straight a line as possible. A caber lying at the "12 o'clock" position would be a perfect toss.
